Born on December 9, 1980 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan region.
A graduate of the Gogol High School. He took degrees at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty and the East Kazakhstan University. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Management and Strategic Leadership at the prestigious University of Bradford, UK.
He started out as a frontline accountant in 2002. A year later, he tried his hand at entrepreneurship by creating an ice cream distribution business, where he first encountered logistics, supply chains, and personal accountability.
From 2004 to 2005, he engaged in the automotive industry, where he worked his way from sales to operational management. Between 2008 and 2010, Kairat Mamiyev headed the Small and Medium Business Department at a commercial bank.
In 2010, he took over the leadership of a construction company, and since 2013, he has focused on managing development and investment projects. He has been engaged in the completion of a number of complex and suspended real estate projects, as well as restructuring, recovery, and sale of distressed assets.
At the same time, he managed a financial and industrial group that held assets in agriculture, logistics and tourism. He has also invested in international projects in real estate, venture capital, and artificial intelligence technologies.
